Regional Marketing Executive-MEA

You will work with the local and regional colleagues in The Middle East and Europe. You will also need to attend exhibitions and product launches where you will meet with clients, suppliers and the media.

You will plan marketing campaigns and make sure they run smoothly. You could also have control of a campaign budget. You may be responsible for checking how effective a campaign is by collecting data and feedback and reporting this to management.

  • Supporting the marketing manager and other colleagues, this includes; Product Managers, Business Development Managers and Sales teams.
  • Liaising with EMEA design team and local printers in MEA counties
  • Liaising with the central marketing team for email marketing, website content, social media, video production and other activities.
  • Arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials across the Middle East and Africa.
  • Maintaining and updating customer databases in coordination with the database management team.
  • Managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, and banners.
  • Writing and proofreading copy.
  • Organizing and attending events such as conferences and seminars-some events might be outside Egypt; however, this can be discussed with the Regional Marketing Manager.
  • Conducting market research, for example using customer questionnaires and intercompany systems.
  • Updating the web content in MEA countries in coordination with local and regional marketing teams.
  • Managing all social media activities in MEA countries in coordination with EMEA marketing team.
  • Developing email marketing activities in MEA countries and report the results.
  • Contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies.
  • Evaluating marketing campaigns.
  • Monitoring competitor activity.

  • You would usually work 9am to 5pm, Sunday to Thursday. You may also need to attend trade fairs, exhibitions and networking events in the evening or at the weekend.
  • You would normally work in an office. You may also travel to meet clients and attend conferences and product launches.

  • Marketing degree and previous experience is very highly valued.
  • Relevant degree subjects include:

  • 1st interview with the HR department (in-person interview or over the phone).
  • 2nd interview with the Regional Marketing Manager, the candidate must present a PowerPoint presentation in 15-20 mins that includes:

    2-      Who are you? Why Global Knowledge should hire you?
    3-      What does Marketing Executive do?

  • Working group: The successful Marketing Executive will work closely with the regional marketing team in The Middle East as well as the regional marketing teams in Europe.
