Overview 

In the Cisco IP Video Surveillance (IPVS) course, students will learn how to install, configure and manage a Cisco IP Video Surveillance solution to manage Physical Security. Cisco's IP Video Surveillance solution integrates smoothly with existing, legacy CCTV camera solutions or can be operated on a pure IP level. It offers live and archived streams in all common media formats and provides archived storage for video streams.


Pre-Requisites

The knowledge and skills that a learner must have before attending this course are as follows:

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent knowledge

To gain the prerequisite skills and knowledge, Cisco strongly recommends the knowledge of the following courses:

  • Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 (ICND1)
  • Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 2 (ICND2)
