Since 2010, Global Knowledge has delivered BATP, which is part of the Architecture Services & Practices (ASaP) curriculum, to more than 200 Cisco partner organizations worldwide and has helped Cisco create more than 170 Cisco Business Architects across the globe. During this process, Global Knowledge has become a strategic partner and provider of Enterprise and Business Architecture learning and consulting to Cisco in North America, EMEAR and AJPC. Global Knowledge has invested heavily in building a team of highly-skilled multilingual facilitators, with real life experience at the heart of the selection process.

Our successful delivery of the unique Business Architecture Transformation Program (BATP) has enabled us to learn from organizations on many continents who are transforming to a solution led strategic customer engagement model facilitated through professional architecture consulting services. This has led to the development of the Architecture Services & Practices (ASaP) portfolio which promotes a team based architectural approach to selling business solutions.

Our Architecture Services & Practices (ASaP) portfolio teaches presales teams how to use an architectural approach and provides the frameworks, tools, and techniques that enable them to identify
and successfully support their customer’s business transformation opportunities.

In the new service-oriented customer engagement model, partner business solution teams will engage with customer core business stakeholders to confirm key change imperatives, deliver transformative advisory services, and then sell large-scale, architected solutions. And all of this will need to be accomplished whilst ‘keeping the lights on’ in terms of generating ‘run rate’ revenue in the account. These parallel objectives will set a high bar for performance within the services oriented organisation of the future.

In August 2013, Cisco announced 3 new Business Value roles and 2 new Business Value certifications:

• Cisco Business Value Specialist
• Cisco Certified Business Value Practitioner

Cisco Certified Business Value Practitioner is now a mandatory requirement for Gold Partners as part of the official Cisco Partner Program.
