The five-day Microsoft Windows 7 Boot Camp prepares qualified
professionals to earn the Microsoft Certified Information
Technology Professional (MCITP): Enterprise Desktop Administrator 7
certification as well as the Microsoft Certified Technology
Specialist (MCTS): Windows 7, Configuration certification.
In this intensive test-preparation program where the goal is

In preparation for the MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Administrator 7

learn to install, upgrade, migrate to, and deploy Windows 7,
including configuring hardware and applications, network
connectivity, and mobile computing. They will learn to monitor and
maintain systems that run Windows 7 and to configure backup and
recovery options. Planning and managing a client life cycle
strategy is covered in the Windows 7 Boot Camp, and students will
learn to design client configurations and application packages for
deployment. They also will learn to identify and resolve deployment
and configuration issues.
Incoming students should have a minimum of three years of
experience installing, configuring, and administering clients in a
Windows networked environment; experience deploying operating
systems and applications; and familiarity with the client
administration capabilities of Windows Server and with management
tools such as the System Center suite of products.
