Dubai, (UAE) – January 20, 2010
– Global Knowledge today
announced the availability of
VMware
vSphere: Troubleshooting [V4], a four-day course in which
students will learn to troubleshoot
virtual machine issues.
This advanced, lab-intensive VMware troubleshooting course
focuses on providing system
administrators with the advanced knowledge, skills, and abilities
to successfully troubleshoot the
VMware® vSphere™ virtual infrastructure. Students will spend most
of the time diagnosing and
rectifying configuration problems created on VMware ESX™/ESXi hosts
and VMware vCenter™
Server systems. Students will use the VMware vSphere Client,
service console commands, the
VMware vSphere Management Assistant (VMA) appliance, and ESXi
technical support mode, and
they will learn to create and use a network sniffer to capture and
display virtual switch network
traffic.
Ideal candidates for the new VMware troubleshooting course
include system administrators,
systems engineers, and help desk personnel who need the knowledge,
skills, and abilities to
perform advanced troubleshooting of their vSphere deployments.
Incoming students should have
completed training on VMware vSphere installation, configuration,
and management, or they
should have equivalent knowledge and administration experience with
ESX/ESXi and vCenter
Server.
VMware vSphere: Troubleshooting [V4] is available in Global
Knowledge classrooms and as a
private, on-site course that can be tailored to the needs of your
